the mindful movement cleanse

Welcome to your Mindful Movement Cleanse, created in partnership between Radiance and Silver Linings Wellbeing. We hope this carefully considered combination of raw, organic and nutritious juices with detoxifying and grounding movement and breath work leaves you feeling refreshed and rebalanced. It will also equip you with new practices that you can incorporate into your daily life for better physical and emotional wellbeing.

Here are your 3-day cleanse instructions and movement sessions, specially curated by Silver Linings Founder, Chrissy Sundt.

your 3-day cleanse

The ‘Mindful Movement Cleanse’ Session Outline & Notes

Day 1 – De-Toxifying Yoga Flow

  • What you need: a mat, possibly a yoga strap/dressing gown belt, a yoga block/folded towel.
  • What to expect: This session is the most dynamic as your energy is likely to be fairly high on day one of the cleanse. This flowing session is designed to be accessible to all levels. The early part of the session is designed to build a little heat in the body and there are lots of lovely opening postures, de-toxifying twists and a final relaxation to allow the body to rest.

Day 3 – Self-Care Session

  • What you need: a mat, a bolster/x2 large towels, a cushion/pillow.
  • What to expect: This is a very gentle session where I have chosen some ‘self-care’ sequences which are some of my favourite things to teach on retreat and which I hope will become part of your ‘self-care’ toolkit.  We take time to breathe, open the shoulders and move the spine, open the hips and there is a final calming series on the bolster to open the chest and heart centre.

In this extra session, I wanted to introduce ‘Nadi Shodana’ or Alternate Nostril Breathing.  This simple practice is incredibly effective.  It decreases tension, brings you to a calmer and more centred place if you are experiencing any anxiety or tension and increases focus.

This is a yogic practice designed to balance the body and energies. We recommend following this sequence each morning on the cleanse.
